POVERTY & HEALTH INSURANCE. Latest poverty stats: approximately 37,000,000 Americans are living in poverty, according to the most recent Census data; this is up 1,000,000 from 2004. 46,000,000 are living without health insurance. Are we okay with this? If not, what are we doing about it?
