BEYOND CRITICIZING. “The one who tries to hurt another ends in hurting only himself... When we live on the exhilaration of the wine of criticism of others, the effect sooner or later wears off, and when we are faced with the demand for something constructive out of our own hearts, then we show our bankruptcy. We have become bankrupt in showing others bankrupt... Turn your moral judgments toward yourself. Set up a standard in your own life that shall of itself be a light in the light of which men shall see and judge themselves.” — E. Stanley Jones
