ROLLING ALONG IN STAGE 17. In the middle of the last of 3 weeks of intense daily competition, the peloton of the Tour de France took it a little "easier" on Wednesday. "Easy" is relative; it's easier for them, still very hard for the average cyclist. Discovery Channel's Paolo Savoldelli won the stage and Lance Armstrong finished with his 2'46" lead in tact.
