AFTER A WET, WINDY RIDE. The riding temperature today was in the low fifties. Light rain and a stiff eastward wind made it seem colder. But that's what riding gear is for. I overdressed; I was drenched, not from rain but from sweat, by the end of today's ride.

  1. John: How long was that ride? I may need to get a bike. Our friends who've been living with us while their home is finished has a bike. Tom rides often. The last three runs I've gone half way and then had to pull up with a strained calf muscle. It doesn't seem to heal and ski season opened today at Loveland. So I may need to join you on the bike and the board. Foothills full of the white stuff
